Nice white marble and gilt bronze clock with red marble columns. Red Levanto marble base surmounted by a Carrare marble stairway. The clock is decorated by gilt bronze laurel leaves and laurel frieze, garlands, fir cones and beaded edge.
A gilt bronze statue of the goddess Ceres with her cornucopia is situated in the center. Ceres is the goddess of Agriculture, Harvest and Fertility.
Enamelled dial signed "E Lohse A Paris".
