A Louis XVI period gilt carved wood barometer - thermometer, decorated with two doves, a torch and a quiver symbolising the Allegory of Love on the top. Signed "Radiguet & Fils Opticiens/ Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire 15 à Paris".Very nice original gilding. Interesting historical references for the thermometer. The mechanism was revised.
